Most of the simple designs that I have reviewed are made with plastics and sealants that will probably out-gas heavily, for example, silicone sealants. I recommend that anyone intending to use a non-stainless-steel-pan get a sample of the water made in such a unit and test it for TDS before building a unit for CS water. JOH
