I am in a quarantine at home. They allow me to work - travel there and go back
home. Have to wear a mask at home and eat and sleep in a separate room. My
fever never went higher than 37.8 and that wasn't high enough to be diagnostic
of SARS, in the absence of other symptoms, so I continue to work. My son's
thing looks more like strep - his fever never went above 37.8 but he did get a
sore throat. Many of my immediate colleques have not been so fortunate. Some
of them are quite sick and many of them are now inpatients at other hospitals.

The department of health calls my home daily to make sure I am either at home
or at work. We've been told that if voluntary quarantine is not complied with
then there will be further measures taken. I don't even want to find out what
that means so I'm being the obedient sheep and have settled in to watch Star
Trek videos.

  Dear Ian,

On Wednesday you said you were in quarantine with a fever. Now you say you
have been working overtime since last Thursday and are symptom free...
