Hi Tamarand, First, I have to say you paid too much for what you got. Second, use only distilled water. Third, it is okay to clean the wires. Use the green scrubber side of a kitchen sponge. Fourth, your colloidal silver should be clear -- after it rests for a day or two it might turn a slight yellow color. That is okay. It is still good. There is no toxic level for colloidal silver that is made this way so depending on what you want to accomplish you can take as much as you want.
