As long as we're on the subject of brew...the beer variety that is...I spent a month in school in the Caribbean and as my peers became queasy eating all the new food... I just drank the beer... Carib... and said out loud more than once "Beer is a food group"... I wasn't kidding...glad to know I was at least on the right track...beta glucan... no kiddin'...maybe that's why the prednzone I was taking for poison ivy never seemed to completely shut off my immune system... sounds like a research study to me...anybody up for volunteering?
