Surely you were not processing it for a week? Consider the surface area of the wire vs the amperage consumption also. Sounds like you are using a battery method, and just about every wrong thing that can be imagined. > What should I look out for or do differently? Maybe use .999 silver rounds from a coin dealer for better surface area than a wire and a amperage digital meter to know when to stop the process after reaching three times the initial amperage reading or conductivity.
