To clean plated jars get a new round toilet brush from a dollar store
The cheap kind with a plastic handle.
I was able to cut handle where it narrowed to 1/2 inch in diameter
I then put brush in 1/2 Electric Variable speed drill and had a power washer
for jars and large bottles.
