I like to fill my tub all the way up and add about 1 cup of CS to the hot
water as it is running from the faucet. I soak for about 20 minutes and then
scrub my skin with a loofa to get off dead skin. I then like to rinse the
whole mess off with a nice shower (using soap). This way my outer skin I
know is clean from harmful bacteria. I only do this once a week. I found
that if I do not rinse off my skin with a shower and soap... my skin will
"itch" until I take another bath or shower. By showering after soaking in
the CS.... I found this to be the best. I make my own CS and I like to use a
good strength of 30-40 PPM CS in the bathwater. I make the "stronger"
batches especially for bathing. I drink the less concentrated CS that I
make. I also take the CS bathwater and using a container....dump the CS
bathwater on my hair before shampooing my hair. It gets the "crud" off my
hair...and does not harm it....(I have blonde hair that comes out of a bottle
and have to be careful what I use on it....CS DOES NOT HARM the hair color).
My hair feels squeeky clean... and is squeeky clean.
My son cleared up his blackhead and acne problem by just putting CS on a
washcloth and wiping his face once or twice a day. His skin is clear and he
has not had the acne and pimples come back.... horay...!
I suggest you DO NOT go too strongly with the CS in your bath water. The cup
or two is very sufficient.... believe me. I've tried more and I've tried
less. The 1-2 cups is correct... plus I have a very large tub....
