Hi, Thanks Jay! I'll give them a try. BTW a friend has recommended to me using Tansy to repel flies; put some leaves into water and simmer on low heat - Bingo, no flies in the house.

When people say "I always get bitten, I must have good blood" There is some
truth to it. Avoid eating things that are sweet. Bananas, candy, sugar, etc.
For a bug/mosquito repellent boil a cup of catnip with 2 cups of water when
it comes to a boil let it simmer for 10-15 minutes then strain the leaves
and spray it on you. This repels 80% of mosquitos. Also lavender and pepper
mint plants repel mosquito's and other insects. You can also do the same
protocol for the catnip with the lavender and peppermint. If these plants
are planted near you it will repel molsquitos/insects. You can buy these
seeds for a buck or leass each and they are perrinial so you'll never have
to re-plant. Also lemon grass repels mosquito. It contains citronella. Look
up citronella containing plants to. Mosquito's are very sensitive to certain
scents especially chamomile and eucolyptus. ALl of these plants are easy to
grow and maintenece free. Hope this helps.
