Hi:
One infallible remedy for yellow jackets bites is heat, it seems to cook
the protein rendering the poison harmless.
I have been attacked by yellow jackets (To which I am quite allergic)
nesting on the ground in my back yard several times.
In the last occasion I received about 30 stings. Five minutes after the
marks were 1/4 of an inch in diameter and about one inch apart. After
the time that it took me to take a shower they were overlapping . A a
this point I enter the sauna, 30 minutes later all indication of stings
were completely gone and never returned.
Immersion in a hot tub or even covering the area with a wet towel (as
hot as it can be taken) also works.
