I'm sure you'll be all right. After 2 weeks my hair turned black but I really do spray it on every time it dries. I'm sure most do not. If it hasn't turned yet you should be fine. :) I also try to get the highest ppm I can. Some times I cook it for 8 hours and sometimes 12 hours. I use 3 nine volt batteries. It always comes out clear so I must be doing something right. Jay
