Being married for 54 years to a Primary,Intermediate,and Secondary teacher
[of course now retired},with great success in teaching ,says that ,following
the rules of phonics,the word Tinnitus should be pronounced "Tin - eye -
tuss".The reason , if there is a vowel after a consonant, ie,"T", then the
"I" says its name, sounding like "Eye"
