Alexander, It's difficult not to speculate on what goes behind the cover up of CS and CS's amazing benefits, and as with you I carry a sense of outrage. But I have my doubts that there's anything machiavellian about the motvies of the FDA or drug barons, or even that "...they have also clearly sold their souls and hearts for $$$..." After all, the transition into knowledge of CS, as we know it, has been recent and gradual, as has been the case with the failure of penicillin-like drugs. So there's been plenty of time to develop various neuroses.
I would imagine that neurosis is much more at the heart of the cover up, all kinds of elaborate justifications developed as to why CS is not desireable. I feel sure that the vast majority of those who are actively covering up CS are not beyond redemption. Rather they have lost their capacity to be objective, whether through lack of discipline or other circumstances. After all the only people among us who do not suffer from some kind of neurosis are the insane. In the case of the FDA and drug barons a common neurosis may be that they would be protecting people from poor quality CS, argyria and law suits. I think our only sensible approach is an intensive effort at education, a reorientation to objectivity.
