Al- My mother-in-law had Graves disease and they "treated" her by administering radioactive Iodine which was supposed to decrease her secretion of hormone but instead reduced her thyroid to zero production of hormone so she has to take it for life. Once she ran out and was confused about her medicines and started continuous fainting spells. But that's allopathic medicine for you.
There are a number of herbs that will regulate and tone the thyroid gland. Some thyroxine inhibitors are: Motherwort herb, Shepherd's purse herb, Bugleweed herb, Melissa leaf (Lemon balm), Watercress herb, Cabbage leaf, Horseradish root, Radish root, Turnip root, Mistletoe herb, Myrrh oil. Several of these are common foods. Research any herb before taking. Some anti-viral herbs- Echinacea root, Garlic bulb, Artborvitae tip, and essential oils of Ravensara, Cistus, Palmarosa, Thuja, Cloves, Cinnamon, Tea tree, Niaouli and Eucalyptus radiata/polybreactea. In the process of trying to blunt the many nasty effects of the disease, I bumped into a TCM doctor who said that my wife's Cytomegalovirus Counts were high. We have both been taking 2 ounces of LVDC CS a day for almost 3 years now. Does CS not touch this little Varmint?? Are there other options for attacking the Cytomegalovirus??
