I agree with Sol that CR is good for picking consumer items, but not good at medical reporting. Their reporting on amalgam fillings I found to be misleading and almost wilfully inconclusive, largely ignoring contrary medical opinions. Like so many folks, I have had amalgams removed, and noticed signficant improvements in health over time.
When I want a camera or a pair of running shoes, CR it is.
