Heidrun, I am allergic to nickel, commonly found in all the items you mom has reactions to, and they all cause the same reaction in me. Only jewelry items I can wear are gold of at least 14k and silver, nothing plated, or surgical steel, so colloidal silver was a concern for me as well, but it turns out I'm not allergic to it (been taking it, and using it topically for about 9 months now). Still, she is wise to be cautious. What about getting some extra silver wire, as you would use for the electrodes in making CS (.999 or .9999) and making a ring from a bit of it and have her wear that and see if she reacts?
