I don't know. I don't have cataracts, but if I did I would be able to tell you. I might try it anyway because my vision has dropped from 20/10 to 20/40 in the last six weeks. The Dr. said sugar is the likely culprit, so I'll drop the sugar and get back on Atkins maintenance diet again. That is when my vision first improved about 20 years ago..
