Shirley, I used the info given by Brooks Bradley at this site under "bubbling" http://www.silvermedicine.org/constantstirring.html
My power supply is only 9vDC because we had a salvaged one on hand. I bought my silver wire from Arnold Beland. He sells it on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2644346692&category=494 I made one piece of wire into a U shape, like the electrodes on my Silverpuppy generator. I get confused between cathode and anode, but the U shape is the one I connect to the positive lead of the power supply. The bottom of the U comes to about 3/4 inch off the bottom of the gallon jar. The other electrode is not U shape, just straight and is about 2 and a h alf inches shorter than the U shaped electrode. Per Ken's suggestion, I made a spacer from a piece of a plastic jug the distilled water comes in, that the wires go through about halfway down the length of the U. This keeps them from drifting around and touching, and keeps the 1.25 inch spacing between the two electrodes. I had the jar already, but people also use the gallon sun tea jars that Walmart sells for $6 (here). My DH has a digital multimeter and showed me how to briefly connect it up to check the DC milliamps, when I want. I don't leave it connected to the set up like some people do. I can take a photo of it and send it to you if you like. Before I had the Silverpuppy, putting together a simple generator seemed overwhelming. Once I had that in hand, I began to want to make one, just for fun. paula ----- Original Message ----- From: shirley holder To: [email protected] Paula, Please post the directions on how you made your gallon size generator? Thanks, Shirquinson
