Hi.....I've written to them twice to ask that very question but never heard from them. I bought mine from www.nutriteam.com Some of their literature that they sent with my order states that it could take as long as a year to get rid of some "parasites". I really tend to think that it is a pathogen especially since the herx reaction is exactly the same as the CS causes me after high doses. The only difference is that the GSE is more pronounced and doesn't fade away as quickly. This would actually be consistent with the claims that GSE is at least 10 times more effective than CS. My pain is precisely whereI have arthritis......if it was irritation due to a chemical........or alergy.....I think it would be different. Since my arthritis has spread over time........and since sugar seems to bring out the worst in it......that really leads me to believe it is systemic yeast.....and/or mycoplasma............ I should also add that since starting the GSE I have MUCH less fatique than I did before. I really hope I'm on the right track.........thanks Mike.........Robb
