Dose them with CS. It doesn't taste bad and will help with the kennel cough. You could nebulize CS as well. I always nebulize CS straight tho, not mixed with anything.
Consider checking in at the CSCats-Dogs List at yahoo groups. There are many cat/dog owners who have used CS successfully for respiratory problems. I'll forward a recipe you can use that may assist in helping them to eat. The garlic in it will help with the respiratory trouble and you can just syringe down their throats.
