Hello All, One of my precious 6 just came home from camp with lice. So far, none of the others are showing any. I am very concerned with using the pesticide products on any of my children, esp. the two that have had transplants.
I searched the archives and TJ suggests: "I have food grade diatomite that really works. It is $5 per quart. enough for 25 kids. Safe, nontoxic and works!" So.......then I researched the use of DE for treatment of lice and found lots of promising information. From what I have read, I cannot use the DE that I use in my pool to treat the lice..........so..........TJ.........I NEED SOME............QUICK!!! Please contact me offlist so that I can arrange purchasing from you. I assume you can recommend how it should be used as well. If anyone else on the list has any information or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate the input. This is our first lice experience. Of course, the one who got it has LONG, THICK, THICK, THICK black curly hair. I know there are hours and hours of combing ahead of us. <sigh> At least she is good and tolerant about brushing.
