I'm glad that you gentlemen are controlling your exasperation and still
looking for answers...

I have not been reading every word of Mike's (long) posts, so I'm not
sure of everything that's been discussed. I'm under the impression,
however, that:

1) Mike is saying that at least some of Bob's data show more silver in
his product than should be there according to Faraday's equations.

2) Bob is claiming, vigorously, that his varied assays are correct --
which, frankly, I would assume is true.

Is that much a correct assesment of the issues in dispute?

Bob or Mike, can you present us with the data from any *one* of Bob's
runs that Mike claims show this?

Keep the presentation as short and simple as possible so we can all
follow it, okay?

Bob, can you offer any guess as to why Mike's assertion might be
wrong? Is one of you dropping a decimal point or muffing a unit
conversion somewhere in a calculation? Any invalid assumptions?

*Something* about the application of Faraday to your data is going
wrong... and it may have nothing to do with *either* the accuracy of
your ppm measurements or the validity of Mike's qualitative estimates
of ppm.

There must be something that one of you is missing here. It'd be good
to find out.

Mike, I'd suggest this would be a good thing to do, regardless of the
answers to my requests above. I'd be happy to hold the money. <grin>

Be well, gentlemen.
