Hi Mike, Yes, I am seeing the effect of ionic diffusion in the DW.
When the power is disrupted the hemispherical potential fields disappear as does the current flow. At that point the repulsion of like polarity takes effect and the distribution of ions approaches uniformity. The re-application of the potential sets up a new set of boundary conditions.
