Godzilla cs & H2O2

To List;

  There is something very strange about the cs made with Godzilla. I
  have remarked on this with a friend in private email, and now have
  seen it often enough to present to the group.

  I have washed my fabrics using bleach, ammonia, vinegar, washing
  soda, borax, and anything else that I can think of that might kill
  mold spores. Nothing works more than a few hours.

  I have tried cs and H2O2 by themselves. They had no effect.

  But cs & H2O2 together had a very strong effect on most of the
  spores. This led to further investigation.

  The first experiments were with 425 ml solution. Everything worked
  as expected, and I wanted to make more cs to do all my clothes.

  Thus was borne Godzilla - 11.5 sq in electrodes wound in a flat
  spiral and centered in a Pyrex 2 litre measuring cup.

  I was having problems with a hard black coat on the anodes caused by
  some unexplained change in the Wallmart dw. Swapping the electrodes
  removed the coating from the cathode, but it reappeared on the new
  anode. This was tough to get rid of. Eventually I found a dw called
  "Life" made by a pharmaceutical company. It seems to work well, and
  eventually solved the problem.

  The cs made during this time had such a strange reaction I only
  mentioned it in private email. Nobody would believe it.

  When I poured the cs in a large jar and added the tiniest bit of
  H2O2, the entire jar would explode in a bright yellow color, then a
  white cloud would appear hiding everything.

  It did this for 7 straight runs. I am appending the data for all the
  runs for your examination, and the UPC codes for each bottle of dw.

  On the 8th run, adding H2O2 did not produce the huge yellow
  explosion, and it has not appeared since.

  The amazing thing is how the cs reacts in the salt test. Without
  H2O2, it does the normal expected things. When H2O2 is added,
  something else happens that has never happened before. It is highly
  repeatable.

  I pour 1 litre of cs in a jar, then add 100 ml of ordinary 3% H2O2.
  Then do a salt test.

  When H2O2 is added to the cs made with Godzilla, the salt test does
  nothing for a few seconds. Then a huge cloud of bubbles appears and
  the salt disappears. I have never seen this reaction before.

  I repeat the same test over and over until I am almost out of salt.
  The same thing happens. Then finally I get a strong dispersion.

  This has very significant implications in disinfecting clothes
  drenched in sweat. The body salt would normally combine with the cs
  and form silver chloride. This would destroy the effectiveness.

  But with the Godzilla cs, the H2O2 rips the salt apart and forms
  bubbles. This leaves the silver ions intact to kill bacteria and
  mold spores, and probably any viruses unlucky enough to be in the
  way.

  I have not been able to do laundry the past few days due the the
  power blackout. My only option is to drench the clothes in cs & H2O2
  for several hours and put them in the sun to dry.

  After they are dry, I smell them. Before, they stank of sweat,
  bacteria, and mold spores. Now, they smell fresh, clean, and have no
  trace of any kind of odor.

  There is only one spore left that still gives a high-pitched
  screaming headache. This is the one I must kill.

  But this stuff works better than anything I have tried before.

Best Regards,

Mike Monett

  become erratic and fluctuate wildly in the 4th digit. Then it
  settles down after sitting at the computer for a while and is stable

  I think the spiral electrodes move slightly as the floor shakes. I

  The movement disturbs the Nernst diffusion layer, which must be
  quite thin at these low currents for such a small vibration to have

  Salt test is good. Strong white clouds formed. Some detail is
  obscured behind the glass.

  Adding H2O2 to the Pyrex produced a much weaker response than
  before. This turned slight yellow then pale milky white.

  It took much less H2O2 to make the solution clear again. There are
  only a few bubbles on bottom of the glass. The previous runs
  produced dense clouds of bubbles on every surface.

  This cs gives the same salt test as running at 3.33 mA, but it takes
  a lot less H2O2 to clear the solution.

  There was a bit of fuzz on the cathode riser.

  Immediate response in the salt test. Clouds started out pale blue
  and filled the glass. Now turning white. After stirring, gives pale
  white dispersion. Objects are clearly visible behind the glass.

  I'll add a bit of H2O2 to the Pyrex. Betcha it turns yellow. Yep.
  Then milky same as before. Added more H2O2 to clear it up. Now
  clear, lots of bubbles.

  Another salt test. Lots of bubbles as before. The dispersion is much
  weaker than before. Similar to previous run #4.

  I just checked the cs left in the sprayer bottle. Much stronger
  response.

  I'll pour this into a jar and let it sit overnight.

  Another salt test - many bubbles, weak dispersion. What is causing
  the bubbles? Is the Cl forming a gas and going out of solution? Is
  the Na combining with OH to make NaOH?

  I keep adding salt. A huge cloud of bubbles each time.

  The dispersion is getting a lot stronger. It takes mucho salt, but
  it's finally working. So this stuff is actually very good. Obscures
  objects behind the glass. Detail is lost.

  The bubbles could be hydrogen, oxygen or chlorine. Smell it next
  time.

  I wonder what it would do to mold spores?

  OK, it has been sitting for a while. The solution is still crystal

  I pour 1 inch into glass #1 and #2, and add some H2O2 to glass #2
  and let it sit.

  I poured the rest of the cs into jar #2, and it immediately turned
  yellow, then white.

  Apparently I left some of the last run in the jar and forget to
  clean it. There couldn't have been much, just a few drops. But
  that's all it took. I added more H2O2 to the jar to see if I can
  clear it up.

  It's not ruined, - I was going add H2O2 anyway. It just happened a
  bit sooner than I planned. But it's funny the H2O2 in glass #2

  After repeating this several times, I terminated the run.

  I poured the solution into a separate jar and added H2O2. The entire

  of the jar. I added more H2O2 and several hours later it is still
  giving off a steady stream of bubbles. Adding more H2O2 doesn't
  speed things up so I will have to wait another day or so until it's
  all gone.

  There is still a bit of fuzz in the bottom. The salt test shows a
  strong dispersion. Objects behind the glass are heavily obscured.
  Poured into bottle #7.

  Started First Godzilla Run

  B is cathode. 2 litres. This is not intended for drinking. It will
  be used in conjunction with H2O2 to stop mold growth in fabrics, so
  I am interested in making the highest ppm possible in a reasonable
  time, and don't mind adding H2O2 to convert any oxide to ions.

  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 11:53:20 am 4.99V 326uA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 11:53:33 am 5.08V 326uA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 11:53:44 am 5.10V 326uA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 11:54:40 am 5.15V 327uA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 11:55:12 am 5.17V 327uA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 11:56:04 am 5.20V 328uA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 11:56:44 am 5.17V 328uA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 11:57:32 am 5.60V 328uA

  OK, we got the initial rise. Now increasing current

  HP3456A is crazy. Measures 65V. The vom measures 35V. current is
  2.6mA. Ignore voltage, measure current.

  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 12:04:25 pm 60V 2.73mA

  I    = 2.7e-3         ; current
  ml   = 2000           ; volume of dw
  mnt  = 0              ; minutes
  ppm  = 22             ; target ppm
  sqin = 11.8           ; wetted area

  den = +0.000228
  gal = +0.528401
  oz  = +67.636
  hrs = +4.0490

  Now try 3.3mA

  I    = 3.3e-3         ; current
  ml   = 2000           ; volume of dw
  mnt  = 0              ; minutes
  ppm  = 22             ; target ppm
  sqin = 11.8           ; wetted area

  hrs = +3.31

  So check for fuzz between 3:30 and 4:00 pm

  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 12:32:33 pm 39V 3.07mA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 12:47:52 pm 37V 3.13mA

  Cathode appears slightly tarnished.

  Top anode spiral has a black section about 1" long where the wire
  passes close to the cathode riser.

  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 12:55:41 pm 35V 3.15mA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 01:34:13 pm 32V 3.28mA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 03:11:50 pm 3.84V 3.27mA

  Anode is almost completely black. Cathode is completely white.

  Small amount of fuzz on cathode riser where it passes through the
  anode spiral.

  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 04:02:21 pm 3.37V 3.28mA
  Thu Jul 31, 2003, 04:56:34 pm 3.10V 3.333mA

  Terminated run.

  Fri Aug 01, 2003, 12:06:43 pm

  The next day, the cs started showing color. I added a bit of H2O2,
  and it immediately turned deep yellow. A faint white mist filled the
  entire jar. I had to add a lot more H2O2 to get it to start turning
  clear.
