To List; I just posted a description of Godzilla using plastic straws to insulate the bottom risers where they pass the top spiral:

Both plastic straws are badly deformed where they meet the bottom bend of the riser. Obviously some reaction is going on during electrolysis, and there is no way to tell if the cs is toxic.
