I permit the posting of the occasional heads-up about such issues, but about the only time we'll be talking about the politics of alternative health in any depth on this list is when it *directly* concerns Colloidal Silver. The Capitalism *I* know about is hardly at fault here. If the first time a farmer found unwanted genetic material in *his* field the courts would award him millions in compensation and charge the corporation to completely sterilize and remediate the land... then maybe irresponsible use of genetic manipulation would be stopped. Oh yes, hold corporate officers *personally* liable for any failures in compliance or breach of the law on their authority. The only rights are *individual* rights. Virtually the *only* purpose of a properly designed government is to defend those rights against all forms of infringement. We have something like widespread corporate mercantilism in action right now. Don't seek to replace it with some warmed over form of socialism and expect things to get better. Freedom tempered with responsibility works. Liberty works. Opposing opinions will be entertained on the Off Topic List!
