Possibly you are talking about Kenmore water distillers instead of filtration systems? I posted the inquiry about them and someone answered that they had used one to make distilled water for making CS for a number of years and were completely satisfied with it.
At $1 a gallon at the store, one would have to make over 100 gallons of DW to pay for the machine, less the cost of the electricity. That's assuming that you could get one for $100, and that the store DW was as good quality. So, I guess it depends on how much DW you go through, and how correct your assumptions are. I was looking at the Kenmore (someone brought this product up in another email) for about $129 new at Sears, but on Ebay probably can get it for under $100. Can anyone suggest three good options? One for under $100, one approximately $150, and one for up to $200. Pros and cons, ease of use, frequency of supplies and costs involved, etc. Thank so much!
