Hi Dan,

I do not recommend air bubblers as I do not know how much  CO2 is being added 
to the
CS. Also I think that the agitation is to weak for anything larger then about a 
quart
tank.

I bought the pump at an aquarium store. It is rate 35 to 70 gal/hr with a head 
of
18".
Since I am not elevating the DW it should be running near maximum output.

The 2 gallon aquarium is 12" long, the anode is at one end and the pump at the 
other
end directed towards the cathode- anode. Its like this PUMP---CATHODE--ANODE. 
Anode
to cahtode spacing is 1.8"
