You can put good bugs back in milk...I don't drink milk per se...I buy
organic whole milk and culture it to kefir & drink it that way. Since I
don't eat cereal, I can't think of any reason to drink uncultured milk
myself. I'm not a calf after all...turn your milk into probiotic food by
creating kefir. It tastes great & is better for you than just plain cow
milk. I do wait a few hours before taking CS, though...just to make sure
the kefir's made it out of the stomach. Lots of good reading here:

The milk from the grocery store is dead.  Killed by pasteurization.   No
good bugs at all.
The best treatise on this is "The Milk Book"  can't remember the
author.......list; who knows who wrote it?
