Hi Robert, The dog got it for drinking water only and I don't know how much he drank. The older gentleman used a gallon per day for some time while in hospice. He now uses considerably less but I cannot tell you the exact amount. The lady used 2 liters a day for several months and then bought one of our SG7 Pro units and took a gallon a day for a while but has since cut back to about a pint to a quart per day.
