Linda- According to reports, eating brewer's yeast makes a person or animal unappealing to bugs. I like it on popcorn as a yummy seasoning, or in warm milk. Mother's Earth News magazine this month reported on the amazing bug-eating Guinea fowl, which can clear out all the ticks and other bugs from your property. Finally, I have had great results on bug bites using Tea Tree Oil salve. It stops the pain immediately and also causes speedy healing. I also have treated a black widow spider bite with papain from meat tenderizer and stopped the local reaction to the venom. Papain, bromelain from pineapple, kiwi fruit pulp, and also regular digestive enzymes will break down the protein-based venom of insect stings and take away pain. CS could also be useful on a sting if there is bacterial contamination present. Nancy -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
