What should the pH be? Does high pH correlate with NO3 and low with CO2?

  Just check the pH of various runs. Not often does one get a pH of  6+ . I
  have pH's in the 8 range as well as the 3 to 4 range.

  The way Stephen Q. controls these things is by a very rigorious pre-distll
  operation, distilling, transport, and brew under Argon gas. This is a pain
  in the butt, as I have the Arogn gas and regulaotrs to fiddle with.
