A ppm is a ppm, no matter what the process or how it got there.
OF course one uS is likewise.
A uS indicated no specific quantity of anything and the total quantity of
everything.
So, if you are only after approximations then you may have a tool to do it.
Still, I wonder what difference it makes if my CS is 9 ppm or 15 ppm?
Keep us posted. I am delighted to seem some people doing the experimenting
