I wonder how Bruce folds in all such a small space, and how he supports it? 14 ga is a bit flimsier than 12 ga. I have 48 inches of 12 ga in a spiral - any more and it definitely would need some kind of support. But I don't know how to do that without risking unwanted chemical reactions at the cathode, or introducing hot spots. I'll try to find time to go through the calculations. The target current is hard to figure out without knowing the initial cell resistance, which we won't know until the thing is built and filled with dw. It also changes with the quality of the dw. It look feasible, but I think the brew time will be longer than originally planned. Best Regards, Mike Monett -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
