Thank you.  I did a search and found tons of stuff referring to dogs or where 
dogs were mentioned.  It was very useful.

Hi Christine,

Welcome to the list! A lot of terminology will sound strange and
difficult to understand at first, but just hang in there and you'll
soon start picking it up.

The silvergen and silverpuppy seem to be the most popular. I don't
know anything about giving cs to dogs, but there's a great search
feature in the archives:

Just enter a word of three letters or more in the search box and
you'll probably get more information than you can use:)
