Hi......I was reading about 6 months ago how some people were having success
treating venemous snake bites with high voltage electricity. It seems that
they found if you shock the area with the spark plug lead of a running engine
that the symptoms of the bite would practically vanish. I was never sure
whether to believe these claims or not...however yesterday I was stung by a
yellow jacket wasp on the top of my food. If you have ever been stung by one
of these critters, you know that they really light you up. Right after I was
stung I happened to remember the "story" about the snake bites so I went to the
house and got my "stimulator".......one of the little contraptions they used to
sell on tv for arthritis pain. It uses a Peizo ignitor much like what you find
on the gas grills that are sold today. I'm not sure how much voltage we are
talking about....but it seems to be considerably high. I "shocked" the sting
on my foot about 25 times and stood up after that and I absolutely could NOT
feel the sting. Any pain was GONE. The welt was also gone........I don't know
if this little experiment is repeatable but I can say that it absolutely worked
