If I recall correctly, even one part per billion will kill all the baddies in a bottle given enough time. 1 PPM works faster and 10 PPM even faster.
But baddies in the body replicate at some rate and the kill rate must exceed the replication rate to knock out an infestation. Otherwise, you just slow it down...maybe enough for the immune system to catch up...and you just get "less sick" for less time. Or, you just hold steady in control mode. I don't think we're trying to "replace" our immune systems. Most people dose just short of drowning if there's a really bad thing happening. You might be able to take too much CS over a long period of time, but a fast jolt ain't gonna hurt as much [ie: not at all] as not doing the fast jolt over a period of a few days or weeks....then backing off.
