Friends, Concerning the CS required for water filter saturation, thanks to all who have follwed this thread, giving supporting observations. For the 2.4 liter flask, weighing the electrodes indicated ~600 mgs. of silver liberated. So I calculate ~250 ppm. I was also surprised to find a lot of ionic silver, contrary to earlier work with the same generator: 47 uS. Dare I believe that the equal interval of the electrodes, at two minutes, contributed to production of the ion, as well as stability of the system.
Anyhow, it took quite a long time, which I attribute to discrepencies from optimal in: flask size, wet surface area of electrodes and voltage. I'll hope to get these closer for future work.
