Hi Steve, First let's correct what you have been told. Most of you silver solution is composed of silver ions (Ag+) and they are dissolved just like sugar is dissolved and it will not come out of solution. If there are particles they will in time fall out of "suspension." The rate at which they fall out is determined by the size. The large one first and then the smaller ones.
I have CS stored in 2 liter cola bottles sitting in a southern exposure window. I have left some out doors over winter where it freezes and thaws several times and there is no change.
