--     I would suggest a veterinary supply company.  It is not necessary to use 
only Lidocaine.....Novacaine, Procaine, or any from among this family of 
anaesthetic agents, may be employed with equal effectiveness. 
        There is small chance you can get an M.D.
or Osteopath to issue you a prescription for such a substance as a stand-alone 
item.
