Hi Rowena, I seven years of making CS I have never used colored bottles. I have six bottles of various CS in clear plastic bottles sitting in a southern window for over three years and there is no change!!!!!
I have frozen, it microwaved it, placed it near motors, you name it and I hve done it. If you have high ionic silver NOTHING will bother it. So much for "old wives tales."
