herx13,
I think this letter is very valuable, and makes clear a point that any
reputable doctor or clinician should know very well: effects vary
widely among patients using identical drugs. This is probably one
reason that clinical testing is so expensive and time-consuming and
requires such large numbers of volunteers.
It is certainly regrettable that CS does not work in this case. I
wonder whether the complete Beck protocol might be of use. If you
have tried that, also without success, that would be good for list
members to know. One wonders whether the problem in this case is
that the CS is not reaching all areas of the body that are infected.
If so, the full Beck protocol might make a difference.
I am neither an MD or clinician, and my comments are speculative.
Nevertheless, from wide reading, I know that in many cases,
medicines do not reach their intended targets without some help,
whether from lasers, electrical or magnetic pulsing, massage, chi
energy, or other supplemental methods.
You mention a beneficial effect in the early stages: this makes me
wonder whether the essential problem is that the CS can not overcome
the constant reinfection from sites that the CS is not reaching.
Good luck to you; we hope that you will have a breakthrough soon.
Best,
JBB

Marshalee, I beg to differ with you. My wife also started taking CS
for
her Lyme about 6 years into the infection. She started small, and
worked
up to 20oz per day of my homemade CS, which Ole Bob tested and found to
be 85% ionic, and generally of excellent quality. More than 2 years
later, shes seen very little improvement, other than a brief mild
improvement at the beginning, which did not last. After 2 years of
20oz
of good CS per day, she remains totally disabled WITH LYME DISEASE.
I emailed you privately in August 2003 on this subject, but never
received a reply.
Marshall is correct. CS can help some cases of Lyme, but you cannot
state that it will cure ALL cases of Lyme. My wife (and a few others)
are the barely living proof of this.
Am I certain my wife has Lyme? Yes, besides the positive SPECT scan at
Columbia Univ Hospital (where Dr. Brian Fallon works), I know how to
read
a western blot for Lyme better than 95% of the physicians in the USA,
and
she DEFINITELY has Lyme. And CS has been practically worthless in this
particular case. That doesn't mean I think CS is NEVER useful for
Lyme;
but it is definitely not ALWAYS effective against every case of Lyme.
Marshalee, I respect all youve contributed to the CS community, and
Im
very glad CS helped your Lyme. I still encourage others to try it for
Lyme and many other illnesses (Ive cured 3 cases of shingles in
friends
with my homemade CS). I use CS myself daily, as do my animals (except
the fish, of course). I just dont GUARANTEE that it will cure Lyme.
I
know for a fact that CS doesnt always work on Lyme. Please take this
in
the spirit it was intended. False hope is a tragic thing to offer
folks.
Kind regards,

CS can go anywhere Borrelia burgdorferi can go.
What is your proof of your statements???

CS kills lyme, there is no doubt of that. However CS must contact the
lyme to kill it. Lyme is very good at hiding in places where CS cannot
get to it easily, such as nerve ganglia, the brain and cartilage. If
the
CS does not reach it, then it cannot kill it. Thus CS can be very
effective in preventing lyme, or getting rid of it in the early stages.
It does not do as well in the later stages when the lyme have found
hiding places. But I have never heard of Beck's protocol not working
with
lyme, since the other elements of his protocol are specifically to get
to
them in the areas where they can hide from CS.
