I think I skipped over the powdered copper idea because in my thinking
(or is it ignorance?) this material doesn't present itself any more
readily than is the case with powdered silver.  I understand that there
is a lot more copper used industrially, but is there some particular
application around which I would find the powder?  If so this would need
to be down in the nanometers.  And is it a foregone conclusion that the
silver would plate on this.

Right now there seem to be so many good ideas out there that I'm simply
picking at what's most obvious to me.  But with the right spark I could
certainly get excited about copper.  This may be especially true after
I've gone through the mock photo processing approach.
