Contact your County Agriculture agent, there is a very effective granulated poison which the worker types pick up when sprinkled around the perimeter of the mound, and they carry these granules inside. Queenie and all of the rest get dead soon after eating the stuff. Fire ante are extremely dangerous to livestock, and when people get bit, it hurts like hell. Florida experience.
