Now you guys all sound like my teenagers when I've *REALLY* gotten their attention and they're afraid I won't let them go to the party on Friday night! <grin> If you stop making OT comments *completely*, Thora, we will lose a valuable part of your contributions to the list. <hug!> When somebody asks a question and you know the answer, please *give* it! If somebody needs some encouragement, give it to them. If *you* need something, please ask. Once people have received the guidance they need to explore these other topics on their own, *then* it's time to wind down the thread or move it to the OT list. I don't mind hearing about EFT on the main list, but detailed discussions belong on the other list. These conversations about the soil, organics, and mineral supplements are informative as all get-out, but they needed to be moved after the first day or so. If anybody wants to pick Wayne's brain about his hydroponics successes, that's a *great* use of the OT list. And if somebody wants to crow about a new grandchild or other personal item, I'm not going to grumble either, because it is having the chance to care about the *people* on this list that makes us a community instead of a bunch of unrelated individuals. It's like being at a party and realizing that everybody is *SHOUTING* in order to be heard. All it means is that it's time to turn the stereo down a bit and move the card game to the basement... *not* that everybody should go home! And for the OT list to be useful and used, a high percentage of the regular posters have to read it. I hope you will.
