Thank you all for your help and time. I've forwarded her your suggestions and
she is anxious to try them out. She has all the products mentioned!
Thanks again,

lef.org specifically mentions oil of oregano as a powerful alternative
antibiotic. (They make no mention of CS, incidentally.) A site called Anatolian
Treasures has good prices on oil of oregano; the owner claims he gets the best
oils directly from Turkey. I recall the prices being quite attractive.
R.e. vitamin C: in Japan, every convenience store carries a lozenge product
that looks like a packet of candy, called VC 3000. It contains ten or so
lozenges (sugarfree), consisting mainly of Vitamin C and zinc.
When getting ill, I promptly buy several packs and take the lozenges at
regular intervals over the course of a day. It is one of the most powerful
medicines I have ever used, and cheap at ¥100 per pack.

Now Foods of Canada sells (through resellers...on the web) 100% pure
Oregano Oil, 1 fl. oz. (30 ml) for $10 or less. You will have to dilute it at 3
parts virgin olive oil and 1 part pure Oregano oil. This means that you end up
getting 4 fl. oz. (120 ml) for the bargain price of $10. I myself have
purchased it on the net for this price but forgot where. You will have to do a
search.
All the best,

My mother once had a similar problem involving her lower front teeth.
The dentist wanted to do expensive surgery for advanced pyrohhea. When Mom
said she simply didn't have the money, they told her of a simple procedure, but
added that no one ever would really do it. Anyway, it involved brushing in the
am and then holding grocery store hydrogen peroxide in the mouth for two
minutes (then spit it out) and she had to do this in the evening before bed
also. She was also given some antibiotics to take for a month or so. I
believe the antibiotics can be left out if you will swish four times per day
(for at least 30 secs and hopefully much longer) with colloidal silver with 3
or 4 drops of DMSO added to each mouthful. What that does for tooth and gum
problems is just about unbelievable. And she needs to take lots of Vit. C too.
Sorry I can't be more specific but this was about 40 years ago. &n! bs! p; I
also can suggest oil of oregano (DILUTED WITH OLIVE OIL OR SOMETHING SIMILAR TO
A 50/50 CONCENTRATION) on the worst places. This will be uncomfortable but not
much can survive it. :) :) If you don't dilute it, you will have one of
those experiences of which time does not dull the memory. Best wishes. pj
