Marshall made the interesting point that the cost of silver is relatively minor in the overall cost of producing EIS-aka-CS. Other relatively minor costs are the electricity for the electrolysis and water for the distillation. So which are the major costs? The container and label? The shipping and handling? Energy necessary to raise the water to the boiling point in the still? Energy necessary to turn the hot water into vapor? Miscellaneous labor costs?
