Jean Baugh ***************** Another note I wanted to add to this discussion on colloidal silver as an effective mastitis cure -- When the supplier that we purchase from first introduced it on the market, it worked so well that Fort Dodge lost 70% of their mastitis sales (on Today, Tommorow, etc.) within the first few weeks. Of course they (Fort Dodge) then put pressure on the FDA, who started making claims that colloidal silver leaves residue in the milk, which it does not (even if it did, the only side effect would be that people's immune systems might be enhanced!). Our supplier had many studies conducted by independent labs to substantiate that it leaves no residue however, because of the fuss, he now labels the silver as being for human use with instructions for human consumption.
