Peter R ---------------------------- My guess is that it was a 14K silver plated copper chain, and the copper reacted with the acid. There is no acid that will attack pure silver metal at room temperature alone. If there was then cleaning stains left by evaporated CS would be easy. Marshall Peter Rebaudo wrote:
