CS kills all prokaryotic organisms; those with no separate membrane containing the nuclear genetic material. It does not harm those with a nuclear membrane, that are called eukaryotic cells. Way back in the archives somewhere is an anecdotal report of a woman who took some amount of some sort of CS throughout her pregnancy. Great birth, great kid.
