If DMSO really does carry CS through the dentin, this method is crucial
prophylaxis for anyone who has had a root canal. I use the method
myself based on my hope that it works, but have never seen research to
establish its efficacy in moving through the tooth. Have any? Thanks
in advance.

Add 10-20% DMSO to the CS and hold it in your mouth. It is so much
more
effective than CS alone. I am using both to control an abcess until
my
dental insurance will pay. Cs alone did not control it as well. Twice
weekly treatments are keeping it from progressing.
